American Brown Ale

Inspired from the English Brown Ale, the American version turns up the flavors to 11.

Ranging in color from copper to dark brown, this style generally features rich, toasty caramel and chocolate malts along with a strong dose of hops. The actual hops vary from the brewer, but American Brown Ales usually use American varieties of hops, often lending a citrus or fruity flavor to the beer. Bitterness can vary from low to moderately high, and some breweries add nut or coffee flavor additions.

Best served cool, at 46-54 degrees, in a pint glass, a tumbler, or a beer mug.

Many Mexican beer styles today are descendants of old Austrian styles, from when Austria ruled Mexico in the late 19th century. Our Dos Perros is made with German Munich malt, English Pale malt, and Chocolate malt, and hopped with Perle and Saaz hops.
