Belgian Pale Ale

Originally brewed to compete with the German Pilsner during World War II, the Belgian Pale Ale is fairly subtle and delicate for a Pale Ale.

Usually a light gold to amber in color, the Belgian Pale Ale often features a toasted and slightly sweet pale and caramel malt character, fruity and spiced Belgian yeast, and fairly mild Noble hops with relatively low bitterness.

Best served cool, 46-54 degrees, in a stemmed tulip or large wine glass.
