Big Butt Doppelbock
Big Butt Doppelbock has a heavy body characterised by a distinct sweet maltiness, which results from a blend of Munich and Caramel malts. It has a very low hop body and finish. (Description provided by company)
A Doppelbock is, not surprisingly, a stronger (in both flavors, aromas, and ABV) version of the tradtional Bock.
Most Doppelbocks are deep burgundy to dark brown, although there are Helles Doppelbocks, which are lighter in color. Malt flavors are deeper and more complex, with roasted notes, caramel, dark fruit, and chocolate. Hop levels are sometimes higher than in a Bock, but never assert themselves above the malt flavors. ABV can range from around 9% to well above 11%.
Best served at cellar temperature, 55-57 degrees, and in a pilsner glass, beer snifter, or stange.

VooDoo Vater Doppelbock tempers the sweetness of caramel malt with the crispy, more nutty flavor of Munich malt. Despite the depth of color, burnt flavors are not present. Traditional extended lagering makes the VooDoo Vater deceptively smooth though high in alcohol. Be warned.
A full-bodied German-Style dark Lager with a rich creamy flavor, roasted nut tones and an easy finish with notes of coffee and toasted chocolate. (Description provided by company)
Abita Andygator®, a creature of the swamp, is a unique, high-gravity brew made with pale malt, German lager yeast, and German Perle hops. Unlike other high-gravity brews, Andygator® is fermented to a dry finish with a slightly sweet flavor and subtle fruit aroma.
Originally brewed at a monastery in northern Italy, "double bock" was quickly introduced by Bavarian brewers to compete with bock. Doppelbock names end with the suffix "-ator."
