Fruit / Vegetable Beer

A term for any beer style with added fruit or vegetables used for flavoring. The base beer can be any style, but is commonly a wheat ale or any lager due to the lighter hop and malt flavors in those styles.

The color varies depending on the base beer style used, and additions can be in the form of whole fruits and veggies, syrup, puree, or extracts. The additions character can be mild to strong, and popular additives include peach, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries.

Best served cool, 46-54 degrees, and in a pint glass, tumbler, champagne flute.

Driven by an obsessive love of high jinks, the Jack-O Traveler spent his days cooking up mischief for everyone who crossed his path. One of his favorite pranks involved tricking unsuspecting bar patrons into buying him beers and then skipping out just when it was his turn to buy a round.
