German Pilsner

Brewed in Bohemia to compete with the Czech Pilsner, the water in Germany contains higher sulfates, which intensifies both hop bitterness and flavor.

Light straw to gold in color, the Noble hop varieties give an herbal or floral flavor, with bitterness moderate to high. Pale malts give a slight biscuit flavor which helps to balance the stronger hop flavors. Clean and crisp in texture.

Best served cold, 39-45 degrees, and in a pilsner glass, champagne flute, or beer mug.

Prima! It’s a German exclamation of joy. It’s a recognition of accomplishment. It’s what escaped from our lips the first time we sampled this mighty pilsner recipe.
