Light Lager

Probably the most identified "American-style" of beer in the world, Light Lagers are brewed with larger amounts of cereal adjuncts (corn, rice) in order to lighted the beer as much as possible.

Almost universally a pale yellow, the malt character is very low (thanks to the addition of adjuncts) and just enough hops are added to balance - no real signs of hop flavor or bitterness anywhere in sight. Very low alcohol and very light body.

Best served cold, at 39-45 degrees, and in a pint glass, pilsner glass, or beer mug.
