Description:

Why does the world need another IPA? Because this one ain’t like them others. We use hops of a different color, earthy and herbal, well-balanced by bready malt. The result? An English-style IPA that separates itself from the ubiquitous bunch. Cartloads of bitter monkeys flinging wasteful amounts of bananas into the jungle … we’re so done with that. Pours a clear golden amber with a half finger of head. Little retention and sparse lacing.

Nose is caramel and bready malt. Very little hops in the aroma, but the little there are are mostly piney and floral.

Taste is, not surprisingly, malt focused, with a nice crispness and very subtle biscuit sweetness. The aftertaste is balanced between the hops and malt, with the hops mostly piney and slightly peppery. Aftertaste is moderately quick and unobtrusive.

Moderately light mouthful and decent carbonation.

Although not as hoppy as the American IPAs that many are accustomed to, this is a nice tasting, easy drinking beer, with nuance and character.
