Good, but not exciting honey cider
Angry Orchard's Summer Honey poured out of the bottle the color of champagne, along with the characteristic sprinkling of bubbles.
Smells of honey and dry apple. Pretty straight-forward.
Taste is sweet apple with honeyish tones, a bit simple at first and boring as I made my way through the bottle.
Feels medium-bodied and smooth with a dryness that clears the palate.
Summer Honey tastes very much like Crisp Apple with a spoon of honey stirred in it.
Perfect cider for your honey-do list
Looks like the perfect summer drink, almost the love child of lemonade and sunshine. It's not dry at all - tasting like the grown up version of apple juice with just a hint of honey and very light carbonation. It smells sweet, but not cloying. I'd call it the cider equivalent of a lawn mowing beer.
