Not for the weak of heart (or palate!)
Pours a slightly cloudy amber, with a half finger of head. Some light retention and even a little bit of alcohol legs along the side of the glass.
Citrus good dominate the nose, with some very appealing grapefruit and orange aromas. Not really much else is noticeable.
Taste is similar, with a strong citrus and pine hop taste. Hop flavors are definitely at IPA levels, and the malt is subtle by comparison. A little bit of alcohol in the finish, and a bitter and lingering aftertaste.
Medium-full body, and medium low carbonation. A little smoother and fuller feeling in the mouth than expected - helps to keep from drinking it too fast!
Hops galore - but some nice flavors and although it's strong, it's still very drinkable (assuming you like hops, of course)!
