Description:
Nicely balanced, Bell's Lager Beer focuses on the flavors developed in the brew house, matching a crisp bitterness & distinctive herbal hop aromas to a simple yet firm malt backbone. Following in the tradition of Bohemian-style pilsners, this beer spends a full six weeks maturing in the fermentation vessels. This extended conditioning period refines the overall flavor, highlighting the contributions of the malts & hops. (Description provided by company)

A Lager with Life!
Pours a clear golden yellow with a finger of a slowly receding bubbly white head.
Lots of pronounced malt aromas - very pilsner-y. Crisp and herbal.
The taste is similarly malt forward, but an herbal and lightly floral hop background are an excellent compliment. Very balanced in flavor and refreshing in character. A quick aftertaste.
Lots of Lager beers fail at having a good flavor, but the Bell's Lager - the Lager of the Lakes - has a great traditional lager flavor with and is drinkable and refreshing.
