Poured from the bottle a bit
Poured from the bottle a bit cool. It was absolutely black with very little light penetrating. There was a cap which quickly blew away. No lacing at all. Simple and subtle smell of dark chocolate. Nicely balanced between sweet and roasted. Chocolate flavor is upfront, supported by oats and a little earthiness. Feels thick and chewy when I drink. Nicely done, overall.
