Our take on the classic Bavarian Style utilizes traditional German malts and yeast to create a balance of Clove and Banana characteristic of the style. Darker in color than its American counterparts, our take on a Hefe has a soft mouthfeel, is finely carbonated, and has a slightly sweet flavor from the use of traditional Bavarian Malts. Not a banana bomb
Blue Pants' hefeweisen poured our of the can a cloudy with a white head which faded faster than it formed. No lacing.
Mellow banana and clove, but this doesn't taste like banana bread like some hefes can get. Closer to the German imports.
Slightly sweet with clove and banana traits. Again, this is toned down from the usual American made hefe. Feels really smooth.
