Bruno's Cassock

This Atg collaboration with Northern Monk Brewing Co. in Leeds, England is intended to be British tradition meets AtG oddity. We took a traditional Extra Special Bitter, darkened it up a bit, added a dose of smoke, and threw in some Amerian hops. The result is a pleasant malty beer with significant complexity. Up front you will get the malty sweetness and caramel character of a traditional ESB along with just enough piney American hops to round it out. The extra dark malts add a roast note that holds up the bacon-y smoke. Fear no evil when you walk with Giordano Bruno. (Description provided by company)
