Description:
Why mess with the perfection that is Drafty Kilt Scotch Ale? We just couldn’t help ourselves. Nitrogenating instead of carbonating gives this beer a creamier mouthfeel, and blends the malt flavors into one smooth, dreamy note. The smokiness is still present, but plays a supporting role. The bottom line: Add Nitro Drafty Kilt to your bucket list. (Description provided by company)

Sometimes messing with a good thing makes it great
Monday Night's Drafty Kilt Nitro pours a creamy, nutty brown, with a silky smooth head. The nose is all malt and nutty goodness. The flavor is nutty as well, with some chocolate, vanilla, and malt notes as well. The nitro makes this iteration creamy and delicious, maybe even more so than the original. Not sure how that's possible, but it is.
Smooth, yet aggressive
Monday Night Drafty Kilt Nitro is a very dark caramel in the glass with a creamy cap of a head. Nice sheets of lacing stretch along the glass each time I drink. Smells of caramel and chocolate, but kinda muddied. The taste is creamy, caramel, and and a slight bit boozy. Feels creamy in the mouth. I enjoy the texture. Unfortunately, the flavor doesn't quite work for me.
