Comments
Better when warm
Franklin County Stout poured into my pint glass nearly black with not much foam...merely a thick film. But that film stuck around the whole time.
When I first poured, it had a chalky roasted smell. As the beer warmed, it smelled more of dark chocolate, cream, coffee, and a hint of cherry or some other dark fruit.
Taste started bitter, but smoothed as it warmed up. Franklin County was quite tasty upon warming; milk chocolate, and coffee.
I started of skeptical, but was won over after a few minutes.
