An easy drinking session ale brewed with American 2 Row, Munich, White Wheat, and Corn. This light bodied beer has a soft mouthfeel and slight sweetness from the corn. A late dose of American hops and low fermentation temps give the finish on this everyday brew some bright citrus tones. Free Mason Island is a shell island approximately 5 miles from the main Chandeleur Island chain and one of our best wade fishing spots we have access to from the Mississippi Coast. Sweet malt followed by hops to give a clean finish
Freemason Golden Ale told me to pour it ice cold, so I popped it open straight out of the fridge. It poured a clear gold into my glass with a thin white head. Not getting much smell, but that's not odd considering how cold this is. (Later, corn and sugar stood out.) The corn brings the sweetness right off the bat, then the hops sweep in and clear the sweet out, leaving things clean and crisp at the end. Mild carbonation and medium body help coat the whole tongue.
