A bright, spicy Belgian-style wit. An effervescent, easy-drinking wheat beer, brewed with Belgian yeast, German hops, and a whisper of ginger from the Far East. This mustachio’d Belgian-style wit believes that good beer defies borders. The name Fu Manbrew was crowdsourced with some help from our friends at Scoutmob. Fu Manbrew: Great for the summer
Fu Manbrew has a nice golden color to it. It looks like the kind of beer I want to drink while standing in front of a grill. The smell provides a little bit more interest. You really get a whiff of the ginger in here. Not too much to overpower, just enough to up the interest level.
But you don't drink with your eyes or your nose. Fu Manbrew has a nice mouthfeel to it. It isn't overly carbonated or heavy. Again, just what I want for a hot summer day. You get a nice, smooth wheat beer, with that little extra pop from the ginger that just makes you want to smack your lips a bit.
I've enjoyed every beer Monday Night has released so far. This beer might have a bit of a goofy name, but it's a worthy brew to add to your fridge, particularly here in the dog days of summer.
