Brewed in the traditional Märzen style, our Oktoberfest pours a brilliant copper over rose color with a bone white head. Pours out a transparent reddish copper with a firm and long lasting full two fingers or so of a light tan head.

Lots of malts - crisp pale malt, and caramel and toffee. Not much in the way of hop aromas.

The sweetness of the caramel malt and the brightness of the subtle, herbal and floral hops balance each other quite well. The bitterness is quite low and the aftertaste is pretty quick as well.

Well balanced and flavorful - the Goose Island Oktoberfest is a great malty beer to get ready for the approaching cold weather.
