Guinness Draft pours a deep, dark brown to black with about two fingers of foamy head. The head is light tan and has excellent retention. This beer looks great.

The aroma is similar to strong, black coffee from the roasted malt - along with a subdued hoppy smell and hints of chocolate. Taste is decent, but not as interesting as expected. You can taste the roasted malt, a subtle hoppiness, and hints of the chocolate, but they are all a bit turned down. A little hoppiness at the end, but nothing bad.

Medium full body with a nice rich mouthfeel with moderate carbonation - very nice. Perhaps a Guinness over in Ireland would be less turned down flavor-wise. Make sure to serve it at a slightly warmer than refrigerator temperature!
