Better than your main 'Merican beers
There isn't anything profound about Harp Lager. I think the key is that Harp does a good job of cranking up the good smells/flavors in standard lagers.
Harp went into the glass a very clear gold with a pretty white head...ok, there was a head a second ago. Anyways...
Smells of lager. Not bad with pilsner malt and kick of floral hops.
Taste has similar simplistic amplification of a tangy sweetness from the malt, some corn flakes, and a hint of honey somewhere.
Feels as thin as most Big Beers, but the carbonation does have a bit of spark to it.
Overall, Harp isn't bad. Certainly not one I'm interested in more.
