This beer fell right off the apple tree.
Pours a very cloudy pale gold. Very little head or lacing. A little boring and slightly flat looking.
Nose is dominated by the apple and cider aromas. Smells basically like a very strong apple cider - no real beer aromas to be found.
Taste is similar - very strong on the apples flavors. There is a little bit of wheat malt hiding in the middle, but it feels more like an after thought and doesn't really seem to fit. If you have ever thought to add a little bit of beer to apple juice, this may be the flavor combination you've been looking for.
Light body and moderately high carbonation.
An interesting idea, and a nice change of pace from the typical fall pumpkin flavored beers, but it doesn't really work for me.
