Pours out a perfect clear, golden yellow with a full two fingers of a fluffy white head. The head recedes fairly quickly down to about a half finger.

A strong bready and crisp pale malt, along with a subtle the earthy and herbal hop aroma. There is a little bit of the fruity Belgian aromas, the crispness is the star.

The alcohol is stronger and more upfront than I would like, but there are some nice fruity banana ester flavors that are hidden behind the alcohol. The malt is still crisp and bready, but the alcohol does come on just a bit too strong for me and for the flavors that are present. A nice quick aftertaste, though, and this beer certainly doesn't disguise its intentions.

A nice aroma, but the Upland Infinite Wisdom Tripel is a bit heavy handed with the alcohol for me. I think if it was a bit better hidden, this beer would have much more to offer.
