Description:

We took our original brew — DogTown Pale Ale — and hybridized it with the Kill Ugly Radio, a 22oz seasonal we released commemorating the 40th anniversary of the release of Frank Zappa’s second album. The flavor was too good to let float in the abyss, so we revamped our original recipe and never looked back.

A 21st century Pale...a big and malty pale ale with a thirst quenching hop flavor and a crispy clean finish. (Description provided by company)

Slightly cloudy golden yellow with a half finger of a white, bubbly head.

A lightly hoppy nose, with some citrus, fruit, and piney aromas. A little bit of a pale malt as well.

Nice and balanced flavors, pretty much exactly what you expect from a pale ale, but done quite well. A nice little kick of hop bitterness, and a lingering piney flavor.

A medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Nothing too surprising in the Lagunitas Pale Ale, but it is done well.
