Yellowhammer's Lickskillet
Yellowhammer's Lickskillet porter is a dark caramel in the glass with a finger tan head which slowly receded and left nice sheets of lacing. Smells of dark chocolate and dark fruits. The taste is similar and less bitter than I was expecting from the dark chocolate smell. This porter's bits of fruit adds a nice dimension which doesn't detract from the style. Great feel with a medium body that feels good but doesn't fight the desire to gulp the beer.
