Description:

Nomads; constantly moving, 'round and 'round; sometimes settle, if just for a bit. Perhaps the muse moves one to brew a sharp and clean session beer, one inspired by the Berliner-weisse of old, and the nomad rests. Enjoy this beer, here, there, perhaps north of Madison Square Park, in lovely New York City. Wherever you are, this beer was made nice, simply for you. (Description provided by company)

Pours a very cloudy and hazy pale yellow. A finger of a bright white and a foamy head disappears after about 15 seconds.

A sharp and tart aroma, with some fruity and citrus notes. Some earthy notes as well. I haven't had a lot of real Berliner Weißbier, so it's unusual but and very interesting.

Taste is strong on the citrus tartness, with strong notes of lemon juice. Some sweeter banana and other fruit flavors are also present but very subtle. Very low hop flavor and bitterness. Very sharp, acidic, and also refreshing.

A very light body, and moderate carbonation.

Evil Twin's Nomader Weisse appears to be a very traditional Berliner Weissbier - very refreshing and easy to drink. I'll have to remember to pick up a few other these when the temperature gets a little bit warmer. These would be a great for a spring or summer afternoon!

Evil Twin’s Nomader Weisse pours a very pale yellow, very much like a wheat beer, with a frothy white head. The nose is bright and pungent. The flavor is tart and sour, with a little bit of banana flavor. The finish has just a bit more of a bite than I would wish for in a beer like this. The flavor is sour enough on its own, I don’t need such a strong aftertaste on top of that.

Nomader Weusse poured out of the can a cloudy pale yellow with a pinky thick head which vanished in a flash. Smells a bit like lemon lime Gatorade and bread dough. The taste is very much like I would imagine Sourpatch Sprite would taste like. Nomader is a mouthful of tiny bubbles; feels so interesting to me.

I may not think of this when I crave a beer but I enjoyed this enough, I'm going to look for future opportunities to have more.
