Comments
Water + Ashes = Pale Horse Export Stout
An aggressive pour of Pale Horse Export Stout only created a finger thick mild chocolate-colored head, which quickly dissolved.
The smell is lots of coffee and roast with a bit more bitter than sweet on the scales.
Lots of charcoal on the taste. I can taste some creamy chocolate when I concentrate, but each gulp I take makes the next one less appealing.
Mouthfeel is thin and watery.
This beer is dated 5-10-12 and drank on 2-15-15. Stickered for $4.69 for the bomber. I overpaid.
