Take the leap for Quantum Wheat!
Ordered a pint of Quantum Wheat at Rocket Republic's taproom. I was given a cloudy orange brew with a thin finger of an off-white head which quickly receded to a ring.
Lots of banana when I take a deep breath. It is rounded out by a bit of butter and some grassy hops.
I found the taste to be very similar to the smell. Quantum Wheat fills out the banana with some bread and a very clean finish. Not much aftertaste at all; which made me all the more eager to take my next gulp.
Feels wonderfully medium bodied. I can feel the wheat cloudiness on my tongue. Such a great feel!
This reminds me of Straight to Ale's He Ain't Heffe, although maybe not quite as sweet.
