Good stout
Rideout Stout is a very dark caramel in the glass, not much light penetration at all. There was a tiny film of foam when the glass first came to me, but it disappeared before the glass got to my lips.
I smell mostly coffee with chocolate smoothing it out.
The taste is basically the same, but the coffee is better described as "not black" but with plenty of cream. As the chocolate seemed to add a sweetness to the smell, it adds a creaminess to the taste.
