Pours a slightly cloudy gold, with a very thin head. Head doesn't stay long, and leaves little lacing.
Aroma is prominently malt focused, with the rye and other spices noticeable. Some aroma from hops that are piney and floral.
Taste starts with an earthy rye and slightly bready malt that leads into a slightly piney, hoppy finish. A fairly long, slightly bitter aftertaste.
Moderate light body and moderately low carbonation.
Overall a nicely drinkable APA with some nice personality.
