Second Self’s Thai Wheat Ale pours a light and pale yellow with little head retention. The ginger comes through prominently in the nose, but not overwhelming. The flavor is just a touch bitter, but mostly refreshing. It isn’t spicy like the ginger might make you think. It’s really well balanced and sip-worthy. Overall a tasty surprise.
