Like leopard-print lederhosen - extreme German Pilsner!
A clear, golden yellow beer, with a white and fluffy head that clings to the glass.
A hoppy nose, but with the traditional Pilsner hops - so a nice grassy and slightly herbal aroma that plays very well with the crisp and bready pale malts. The extra helping of hops also adds the same grassy and slightly floral notes to the taste, and the finish, though quick, is a bit longer than a regular pilsner.
These extra hops, although maybe not strictly traditional for the pilsner style, do add a nice extra kick of flavor - if you can find a bottle of the Shiner 107 Birthday Beer - grab it!
