Shiner Prickly Pear pours a clear, dark amber with a bubbly beige head which vanished quickly.

Pear dominates the nose and made me take another look at the bottle to see if it was actually a perry or cider.

Any thoughts of this not being a beer are quickly washed away once I tasted. Piney hops are about equal with the sweetness of the pear.

Nicely light as I drink it, perfect for imbibing to cool off on summer days.
