Comments
Lackluster Wheat
The Shock Top Belgian White pours a very cloudy and pale orange, with a thin head that has very little retention and lacing.
The nose is primarily citrus, but it's also subtle and fades quickly. Taste is very slightly sweet balanced by orange-y citrus - some spices present as well. The beer has a slight bitterness but aftertaste is a lingering citrus bitterness. The mouthfeel is moderate, and carbonation seems low.
Not a bad wheat beer, but a little flat and simple on the taste and nose.
