Comments
Weak smell compensated by interesting flavor
Handy's Gold from Singin' River was a very clear gold with a two finger pearl-colored head that took forever to evaporate after I poured it from the can into a pint glass. Sheets of lacing coat the glass with each drink. Fruity malt sweetness enters the nose, but I don't get a strong smell from this ale. With each drink, I get Belgian yeast right off of the bat with a wave of dryness and then a bitter kick from the hops at the end. Very interesting combination. So light and smooth. This is definitely on my list of AL craft beers I would hand a lover of Big Beer.
