Comments
Unexpectedly Fruity
Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin layer of a bubbly head.
Fruity and melon in the nose with a light and crisp pale maltiness.
Taste is very similar, with lots of melon and a crisp pale malt that keeps the sweetness well controlled. A little bit of the earthiness from the ginger adds a nice contrast to the brighter hop and yeast flavors. Moderately low bitterness and a quick aftertaste.
A little bit more fruitiness than you can find in most Kolsch ales, Spectra Trifecta ads some nice depth with added spices without getting too out of control!
