Comments
A Hybrid Irish Ale
Pours an attractive ruby red with a two finger, thick off white head.
Lots of malt aromas - toffee, caramel, lightly toasted bread - but not much else.
Lots of toasty bread, caramel and malt flavors. A little bit of a rich fruity bitterness, but the bitterness is still only moderate. The aftertaste tapers off quickly, but it then lingers on an herbal and spicy bitterness.
A medium body with fairly high carbonation to keep it nicely prickly.
The Tinman Rivet Irish Red has a nice depth of the typical Irish Red malt flavors along with a hoppiness that is a little more American in style.
