Bright and Barely Bitter
This Cigar City and Terrapin collaboration poured into my tulip glass a rusty orange with a bright white thin cap. This DIPA is hazy and does have a honey-like hue.
Bright, sweet apricots, sugar, and some grass can be smelled in the glass. This is a rich, fruity aroma with density.
Taste is mostly apricot with grapefruit taking over, bringing some mild bitterness in the second half. The aftertaste is more sweet, than bitter.
Not a big IPA fan and found this to be a variant which gets me intrigued.
