Description:

On May 9th, 2013, Alabama governor Robert Bentley signed the legislation that legalized homebrewing in the state of Alabama, making it the last state in the union to do so. We brewed Wiregrass in 2013 to celebrate this, in collaboration with Folklore Brewing and MOOLA Homebrew Club of Alabama and we continue that tradition each year. This ale combines elements of an American Pre-Prohibition Pilsner and an American IPA. (Description provided by company)

While this is a nice gesture, Wiregrass doesn't strike me as particularly interesting. Maybe if you are really into pilsners (I'm not), this is a pine hop variation.

Wiregrass poured from the can a hazy light gold with an off-white head. Not much lacing. Cleared ever so slightly over time.

Pine is what the nose gets first but there is a bit of bready smell, too. The taste mirrors the smell. Not much for me to appreciate other than the hops.
