Description:

Yazoo's Hefeweizen is an authentic example of a Bavarian Hefeweizen. This beer is made with mostly wheat malt and uses a true Hefeweizen yeast that gives it a fruity banana aroma with just a hint of cloves. The tart finish makes this the perfect summer beer. (Description provided by company)

Yazoo Hefe was sampled at the tap room before going on the tour. It was cloudy, dull yellow with a white film of a head. Heavy banana with some grain on the nose. Taste was banana, clove, fresh bread, with a clean finish. The medium body with mild carbonation felt nice on the tongue. Better than average, but not one that begs to be sought out. Yazoo's Das Perros is more deserving of your curiosity.
