Dark amber lager with a
Dark amber lager with a finger-thick off-white head that quickly became a thin ring around the glass. Some lacing.
I smell caramelized sugar, some dark fruits, and some grass on the end.
Taste is fairly well balanced between sweet caramel and earthy hops. There is a syrup-coated bitter nip in the aftertaste.
Feels on the medium side of a light-bodied beer with a little carbonation to add some textural interest. Clean finish.
I can see how someone would make this their every-day beer.
