Comments
I finally had a stout with too much malt bitterness
Rogue's Shakespeare Stout is nearly black in the glass with a sense beige head which took forever to melt away. Nice lacing when I drink.
Sting malt bitterness when I take a breath. Hints of dark chocolate linger behind the bitter.
I get Tobacco and chocolate when I drink. The bitterness takes on some coffee characteristics, but the bitter is stronger than the coffee.
It is medium bodied, but I expected more density from an oatmeal stout.
