What a difference a year makes! SBC1 marks our first anniversary crafting our beer in honor of those who serve our country, and we humbly continue our duty of donating a portion of our revenue to support them. Thank you for helping achieve our mission as we dedicate SBC1 to all of the charities out there making the world a better place.
Inspired by the sweet fruits of our first year’s labor, this American Strong Ale blends Georgia blueberries, cacao nibs, vanilla bean and Savannah Bee Co honey for a decadent finish to a solid year (Description provided by company)

Easy to support this effort
Service Brewing Company’s SBC 1 is an American Strong Ale made in celebration of the brewery’s first anniversary. It pours a standard deep golden color, but that’s where the “standard” ends for this beer. The nose is full of berries and a touch of cocoa and vanilla. Not what you’d expect from a strong ale. The flavor is quite sweet, thanks to the Savannah Bee Co. honey added, but it isn’t so sweet that I wanted to stop drinking it. It’s a tasty beer, just not one you might want if you are after a more traditional strong ale. Less heft, but a lot of flavors going on here. And with a portion of the brewery’s revenue going to support folks in the armed forces, it’s hard not to enjoy it.
