Bit more of a hoppy bite than I was expecting
Poured from the bottle into a glass to see the Summer Pils' light gold color and snow white head. Strong smell of earthy, grassy hops, grain, and a background note of butterscotch sweetness. Taste was about what I expected from the smell, except the hops jumped out quite a bit stronger than I expected. Fairly light body with just enough carbonation to make it borderline medium-bodied.
This is definitely not your Big Brew beer. It is a good one to pass along to any Bud friends you have that claim they like hops, it will seem familiar and yet far more flavorful than their usual brewski.
