Happoshu

Translated as "Bubbling Spirits", Happoshu is made when the malt content is less than 67% percent. Happoshu beverages have a lower tax in Japan compared to beer (which has greater than 67% malt), which has contributed to the popularity of the style.

Best served cool, 46-54 degrees, and in a pint or pilsner glass.
