Belgian Strong Pale Ale

A higher ABV version of the Belgian Pale Ale, the alcohol in this style is usually either deceptively well hidden or strongly present.

Colors can range from a pale to deep gold, this beer is often brewed with additional light-colored candi sugar, which gives the yeast more food to produce higher alcohol and carbonation without extra body. Typical of Belgian beers, the Belgian yeast strains produce fruity and spiced aromas and flavors. Hops can vary, but are usually on the lower end of bitterness.

Best served cool, at 46-54 degrees, in a beer snifter, a stemmed tulip glass, or large wine glass.

When was the last time you hit the gym? Do you even lift, bro? This is a beer you need to work for. A rich gold in color, like the weightlifting medal you wished you’d won, this spicy Belgian-style golden ale has been infused with pears.
