Knotty Pear’s main ingredient is juice from American apples, and also features pear juice, which adds a new dimension to the cider, creating a pleasantly dry flavor. Cardamom imparts a slight spicy flavor.

Ranging in color from a light yellow to medium brown, cider can also be either clear or cloudy, depending on the level of filtration between pressing the apples and the fermentation. While most cider is sparkling, some still (non-carbonated) ciders are produced.
Best served cool, at 46-54 degrees, and in a wine glass, goblet, or chalice.
