Lambic - Unblended

Made without the addition of fruit, a genuine Lambic has a strong sour, earthy and acidic flavor from the strains of wild yeast that grow during the beers fermentation.

Pale to golden in color, the oak barrel aging imparts some light fruit and honey character to balance the strong fermentation flavors. The hops added are purely for preservation, and impart no significant flavor, bitterness, or aroma. Generally not carbonated and only made in small batches - not easy to find in the US.

Serve at cellar temperature, 55-57 degrees, in a champagne flute or beer snifter.
