Munich Dunkel Lager

This German Dunkel (or "dark") beer is traditionally brewed using Munich malts, giving the beer a full body and strong malt flavors.

Colored from light to dark brown, the strong malt flavors are generally bready, toasty, and sometimes nutty or chocolaty. Hop bitterness and flavor is moderate - just enough to balance out the malt sweetness. Often not as many roasted malt flavors as the German Bock and Schwarzbier styles.

Best served cool, 46-54 degrees, and in a pilsner glass, pint glass, or stange.
