Description:

Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute IPA "perhaps the best IPA in America." An imperial IPA best savored from a snifter, 90 Minute has a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate.

90 Minute IPA was the first beer we continuously hopped, allowing for a pungent -- but not crushing -- hop flavor. (Description provided by company)

This Imperial IPA pours a deep and attractive amber, with a half finger of head. The head has both average retention and lacing.

Unsurprisingly, the nose is very hoppy, with citrus, yeasty, and grassy aromas - the hop smell is fresh, but not overly intense. Taste is more balanced than nose, with the roasted malt flavor balancing out the citrus and floral hops. The hop flavor is up front, but not overly bitter or unpleasant. The beer finishes with a dry but manageable aftertaste.

A very full-feeling medium body with moderate carbonation. Feels both pleasantly smooth and slightly crisp in the mouth.
