Comments
Lots of hops, not lots of bitter
Pours a golden yellow, with a thin white head. Very light lacing and a little bit of head retention.
Citrus comes out strong in the nose, with a lot of flowery and grapefruit aromas. A pale and biscuity malt background as well.
Taste is very crisp and citrusy, with strong citrus flavors but moderately low bitterness. A very bready and lightly toasted malt base. Finish is very quick with a small and quick aftertaste
Light body and medium carbonation.
Abita Pale Ale offers some nice citrus flavors with not a lot of hop bitterness. A nice beer for a spring or summer day, easily sessionable but not boring or flavorless.
